I was driving about 35mph in my car, heading south on Hwy 199 at about 12:05pm on January 15, 2012. I was looking to my left out at the trees looking for snow of any sort. Knowing I was about ready to pass Knopkie Creek Road turn off where we've always headed to the snow......and that's when I saw this large "thing" standing off back just behind the bridge in the middle of the small road holding something in his hands.
It looked as if it was bringing whatever was, in its hands, to its face. I could make out its stance.....Legs apart, upright, elbows out and up, and the head was leaning down facing into its hands.....It was brownish/reddish in color, somewhat longish hair that I could see on the legs and arms and I could see the hair on its body from the sun shining between the trees behind it. It was huge! Large shoulder width, tall, its body mass was thick but not a bear; it was more human like.
I stopped just down the road and turned around and passed back by the road and looked over but it was gone. I went up the road again and turned around then pulled in. I got out of my car just before the bridge and I looked for footprints on the road but couldn't see any and then I could just smell this awful smell. Like stinky dead skunk but I know it was skunk smell. I was alone out there and decided it best to just get back in the car. I don't care what you think or if you don't believe my story. I've never seen anything like that before in my life. I don't think I'll ever forget it either. I have not contacted authorities yet; just for the plain fact, I have no idea of what to say to them.....I saw a Bigfoot? I still can't even believe what I just saw but I know I‘ll never forget it either!! I did Facebook it though because, I had to tell someone!
