Arkansas At about 3:00 a.m. my mother woke up to the smell of a wet dog. She told me that it was the worst smell that she had ever encountered. As she was lying there trying to figure out what it was, she said that she heard some sort of cooing, and whistling noises. It was right outside of her open window. She got up and found my brothers gun for protection, but by the time she got back to her room, it was already gone. At about 8:30 the next morning she came over to my house and asked me if I had heard anything strange and my reply was 'no.' Actually, I thought she was crazy. I went out behind her house with her and began to look around with her. We searched for a few minutes and then I came across the biggest footprint that I have ever seen. Instantly, the hair on the back of my neck stood up and I was ready to get away. But, finally I got my nerve back and I went back out there. We measured the print and it was 16 1/2" long and 7" wide. I also sat my husband's size 14 boots down in the print and took pictures. It was much larger. The print was perfect from toe to heel. We asked around about seeing it, and a fellow that we've known for years said that yes, he'd seen it. He said that it was right in this same area at this same time last year. He described it as approximately 7 to 8 feet tall, long, shaggy, black hair, with long arms and a giant build. It stepped out of the woods on the left side of the road and it took 2 steps for it to reach the other side. This is a wooded area, with lots of fields. Angela
