Sycamore Flats Campground, San Gabriel Mountains

Alone at the Sycamore Flats Campground shortly after midnight, full moor and dog acting nervous, Willie Roemermann saw an eight-foot creature take two steps and freeze by the bush. Roemermann shone his flashlight on itm, tried to take pictures but not enough light. Next day he found 16.5 inch, five toed footprints, and cast them. John Green, BC Archives.
