Richland County,
Ohio I was hunting at a friends home. It was still dark out when I made my way about two-thirds up the hill behind the house and found a tree to lean against. It was around daybreak, probably 5:30 or 6:00 am when I heard some rustling at the crest of the hill, about 100 yards away. I figured it was a deer. 2 inches of snow had fallen the night before so it was very quiet. I listened as the rustling noise made its way down the hill slowly to my right (east of where I was standing). About the time the sun was up, the noise was about even with me on the hill and I could tell that it wasn't a deer. I thought it was another hunter who was trespassing or poaching deer. I called out, the noise stopped, but I got no reply. I then saw movement from behind a large tree. I could only see the creature from the chest up, but I had no doubts that it was a Bigfoot. I then ran back down the hill to the house and told friends what I had seen. I could only see the head and the chest. But the creature had to be at least 9 feet tall. I'm not sure of anything else, just that it was very tall as marked by a branch that was on the tree it stood beside. There is a large hill
directly behind the house. Probably a 40 or 50 degree grade; dense wooded
area for many miles around. The owners of the property frequently encounter
bigfoot and claim there is a family "pod"? living in the area. |
