Pittsylvania County, Virginia -The Danville Bee reported a woman saw a 7-foot tall bigfoot on May 17, 1977

Location in Virginia not given: John Lutz reported to John Green that as three witnesses walked up a mountain, they scattered when they saw a 7 -8-foot tall sasquatch running on two legs pass them on its way down the mountain. Details are in "Sasquatch, the Apes Among Us." pg 225
