"Hope you find the little paragraph from my friend Woody to be of interest. He gave me one example of a Maine Bigfoot story he heard 2nd hand. It involved an older gentleman sharing with a BF at close range a meat pie, which had been set out on his back porch to cool down."

Subject: Maine Ridge Monster

When I was in my freshman year in college [1960's] at Ricker College in Houlton, Maine, we were located at the northern end of what was locally called the Haynesville Woods (a stretch of pine forest about 90 miles long. We often heard tales from some of the locals about similar events in their lives. At the time I did not believe them, but there have been so many of these tales over the years that I feel there must be something to them. Woody
