Conneaut River, Ashtabula County , Ohio

Sightings of unknown creatures had been reported by many people who lived close to or fished the Conneaut Creek. 

One man was crossing the bridge over this body of water about 8:30 pm. It had rained heavily and the water was about 4 feet deep and had a very strong current. As he looked down un the swollen waters he could make out a figure standing in the water. The water line hit this creature right in the waist. It was brown in color completely covered in hair or fur.

The fog was rolling in and it was hard to make out but it was walking into the current as if it was walking on dry land. He watched it for a few moments until it disappeared in the darkness.
